Vivid Resourcing Ltd is representing an intimate scale-up hospitality tech company based in Mechelen, seeking a Ruby developer who wants ownership over the product they help build. This isn’t a seat in a big team; you’ll shape upcoming features and AI-enabled capabilities.

You’ll work across the stack (Ruby backend, TypeScript frontend) and deploy on Azure in a Linux environment, using PostgreSQL for data modelling.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with Ruby.
• Comfortable working with TypeScript on the frontend.
• Curious about AI and building AI-powered features.
• Strong ownership and ability to drive features end-to-end.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain features in Ruby across the core platform.
• Contribute to front-end work in TypeScript.
• Help design and implement new AI-driven features, from concept to production.
• Manage and deploy infrastructure on Azure, running on Linux.
• Work with PostgreSQL for data modelling, queries, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with a small, hands-on team including input into technical decisions.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end, from idea to release.
