Movu Robotics in Lokeren seeks a Simulation Engineer to design and run intralogistics simulations using emulate3D and C#. You will analyze customer data, validate simulations with Sales, and develop models to maximize throughput.

You will work in the Global Solution Team, develop the simulation platform, and produce animations that support the Sales process. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with a hands-on, autonomous team player mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.

Responsabilités

• Analyze functional customer data and derive necessary parameters.
• Attend customer meetings and verify the simulation in collaboration with Sales.
• Provide ideas for solving bottlenecks and layout optimizations.
• Set up intralogistical flow simulation models based on provided layouts.
• Model and develop test scenarios to maximize throughput and for installation acceptance.
• Create a proper Simulation rapport to accompany the Sales Offering.
• Create animations.

Job Description

If you like to simulate logistic storage systems to deliver an optimized automatic warehouse, the job of Simulation Engineer can be something for you.

How many shuttles or AMR’s are required for the requested throughput? Or how much time is needed to bring pallets to the loading dock? Or what is the maximum throughput of the system when we add shuttles? Or what is the best storage strategy for that customer? Or can we improve the algorithms to increase the performance of the system?

These are some of the questions that the Simulation Engineer needs to answer.

As Simulation Engineer you will work in the Global Solution Team, centralized in the headquarters in Lokeren, to support the Sales Engineers in the different regions and where you will develop a simulation environment in emulate3D using C# to find out the right answers.

What do we expect from you?

• Analysis of functional customer data and deriving necessary parameters.

• Creating animations.
• Participation in the development of the simulation platform and models.
• Optimization of the already existing algorithms.
• Standardization of simulation models.

Qualifications

Your profile :

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
• You have an understanding of programming in C#
• You have a technical background in simulation
• You are communicative and hands-on.
• You are an autonomous team player.
• You speak fluently Dutch and English.
• You are punctual and precise.
• Knowledge of emulate3D is a plus
