Description du poste

At Octiva, we’re not just building robots - we’re redefining how greenhouses operate. Our autonomous robotic platforms are already making a difference in the field, and we need someone who’s excited to be part of that impact.Wе’re looking for a Data Analyst who gets energy from working with real machines, solving real problems, and improving real customer experiences. Your mission is to help the engineering team focus on the right issues so that every robot we deploy performs better, faster, and smarter for our growers. You’ll spend part of your time deep-diving into data: analyzing robot logs, identifying anomalies, and spotting trends. But you’ll also step into greenhouses, test hypotheses on the robots themselves, and collaborate with service and engineering teams on the ground. This is a role where thinking meets doing. You’ll be the link between field reality and engineering insights - making sure our robots work better not just in theory, but in practice. Your findings will directly influence software updates, hardware tweaks, and customer satisfaction. Your tasks will include:

  • Dive into robot logs, error messages, and performance data to spot what matters
  • Work side-by-side with our engineering and service teams to test ideas in the field
  • Investigate recurring issues and help prioritize what gets fixed next
  • Turn messy data into clear stories: what’s working, what’s not, and why
  • Help bridge the gap between customer experience and technical execution
  • You have a Master’s degree in engineering or any other relevant field
  • You are someone who loves to see machines in action and wants to be part of that – and you get energized by the idea of walking into a greenhouse and solving problems hands-on
  • With your analytical mindset, you’re not satisfied until you’ve seen the root cause with your own eyes
  • You’re a team player who thrives on cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable speaking with both engineers and non-technical users
  • Your language skills are excellent in Dutch and English, both written as spoken
You bring following skills to the table:
  • A basic toolkit in data analysis (e.g. Python, Excel, Power BI, (No)SQL, etc.)
  • Interest or exposure to robotics, automation, or field-based systems
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to understand how systems behave
  • A no-nonsense, let’s-fix-this attitude
  • Willingness to go beyond the data - literally
Our offer

A one-of-a-kind entry-level role for someone who wants to do more than analyze data

The opportunity to influence how our robots operate and how our customers experience them

A tight-knit, ambitious team where your input drives action

Daily variety: you’ll be switching between field visits, team discussions, and data deep-dives

A fast-moving environment where your work creates tangible results - fast

About Octiva

Octiva is a global leader in robotics for greenhouse automation, with a team of over 80 people based in Belgium and the Netherlands. We combine cutting-edge technology with deep agricultural expertise to bring autonomous solutions into the real world.

Founded in 2021 through the merger of Octinion’s horticultural robotics division and Priva’s robotics efforts, Octiva develops modular autonomous platforms that support UVC treatment, spraying, scouting, and more - all without requiring greenhouse infrastructure modifications.

In May 2025, Octiva acquired Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility, expanding into greenhouse logistics and becoming a full-stack automation provider. This makes Octiva a one stop partner for both greenhouse mobility and autonomous operations.

Octiva serves growers worldwide, driven by a single mission: empower growers - not replace them - through intelligent automation that boosts performance, reliability, and crop quality.
