Job summary

Spott is seeking a self-employed subcontractor to join a two-person team on public road projects in the Antwerp area. You will prepare foundations, install kerbs and paving, and coordinate daily tasks with your teammate on active sites.

The role requires self-employment status with a valid company registration number and experience in road construction. A minimum of basic hand-tools is expected, with occasional machine operation being an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in road construction or street building.
• Self-employed status and your own company registration number.
• Experience with paving and kerbs is an advantage.
• Operating a mini excavator, loader, or plate compactor is an advantage.
• Certificates: VCA or relevant machine certificates

Responsibilities

• Build and rebuild streets and roads on public worksites.
• Prepare foundations by excavating, leveling, and compacting.
• Install kerbs, edge strips, and paving.
• Coordinate daily work with your teammate on active road construction sites.
