A financial services provider is seeking a risk team member in Luxembourg to support the Enterprise Risk Management framework. This role involves analyzing and improving processes, contributing to risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks like DORA. Candidates should have a university degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with ICT risk management. Proficiency in MS Office and VBA knowledge is also required.

Your role - Are you ready for a challenge?

As a member of the Risk team, your role is to support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework.

You will achieve this by advising and assisting the business in the daily identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of operational and strategic risks in a context of the growing importance of digitalisation and cyber challenges.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:
  • Analyse processes, controls and propose improvements to ensure that related risks are in line with the Company's risk appetite.
  • Contribute to the Risk & Control Self‑Assessment process in close cooperation with the Business.
  • Contribute to ICT risk assessments on information systems, processes, projects, and third‑party providers, and address operational resilience.
  • Support regulatory compliance with DORA.
  • Review and advise on operational incidents; support in the deep dive analysis of operational incidents.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports to internal committees incl. the preparation and analysis of data.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the risk training material for the in‑house online training platform.
  • Partner with Information Security, IT, Legal & Compliance, DPO, Internal Audit, and Business Operations teams to embed risk awareness and best practices throughout the organisation.
  • Follow‑up on remediation plans and actions.
  • Coordinate and supervise the maintenance of Corporate Policies, Procedures and Controls.
  • Be an active contributor to raise the risk maturity level across the Company.
Your profile - Have you got what it takes to become our Job Title?
  • University degree with between 3-5 years of relevant experience in risk, control or audit functions, with strong focus on ICT Risk Management.
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory frameworks is essential, particularly DORA, ISO 27001, NIST 2.0 CSF, and NIS 2. Please highlight any certifications related to these.
  • Excellent familiarity with the common MS Office software is a must.
  • Ability to identify and analyse risks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Identify and suggest new ideas and solutions, continuously thinking out of the box.
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills; any additional European language would be considered an asset.
  • Highly developed communication skills and confidence in interacting with colleagues across the Company and within the risk team.
  • Experience in writing reports to committees.
  • Dedication and ability to produce high quality, accurate work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise among deliverables relating to multiple topics.
  • Fast and enthusiastic learner.
  • Sound knowledge of VBA. Quantitative modelling would be a considerable asset.
