NATO's Cyber Security Centre in Mons, Belgium is seeking a hands-on Linux Engineer to own the RHEL servers and the infrastructure that supports our cyber services.

You'll build, harden, and automate with Ansible and Python to run securely at scale, working alongside the NATO team defending cyberspace across 32 member nations.

We value hands-on experience with VMware, security hardening, and a NATO Secret clearance (active or obtainable).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Linux server administration (RHEL preferred).
• Scripting in Python and Ansible automation experience.
• Active or obtainable NATO Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure and maintain Linux servers end-to-end, focused on RHEL.
• Automate infrastructure with Ansible and Python.
• Harden systems, firewalls, encryption, access control to security best practice.
• Work with VMware virtualization and DevOps toolchain.
• Understand stack from application to container to network to infrastructure.
