CASH by Batopin in Belgium is seeking a Retail Network Management Expert to lead analysis of the nationwide network, evaluate location performance and identify optimization opportunities. You will translate insights into actionable dashboards and business cases, collaborating with Operations, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing and Customer Insights.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor with 5+ years in retail network management, fluency in Dutch and French, strong English for internal comms, and

Qualifications

• Master or bachelor with +5 years of relevant experience in retail network management or similar function.
• Excellent command of basic Office tools.
• Analytical and financial skills.
• Fluent Dutch and French verbal with strong written skills in at least one of both languages and a good knowledge of English for internal communication.
• Experience in expansion & commercial real estate and proven knowledge of the Belgian retail landscape is a strong advantage.
• Geomarketing experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyse network performance indicators and compare CASH point locations to identify trends.
• Combine internal data with local & international market dynamics, customer behaviour, accessibility and location characteristics to understand what drives performance.
• Assess the potential of existing and possible new locations to support the long-term evolution of the CASH point network.
• Follow up on local operational performance to support a seamless CASH point experience.
• Identify where interventions are needed, such as improving underperforming CASH points, strengthening accessibility or increasing operational efficiency.
• Support fact-based decisions on relocation, closure, investment or new location opportunities by preparing clear analyses and business cases.
• Support negotiation of commercial/rental agreements.
• Ensure that optimization proposals balance customer experience, operational feasibility, financial impact and long-term sustainability.
• Translate analyses into concise dashboards, performance reporting and recommendations.
• Facilitate alignment with Operations, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing and Customer Insights to make sure recommendations are realistic and executable.
• Prepare the formal governance body that will steer decisions on the evolution of the network.
• Follow up on agreed actions and evaluate whether implemented network changes deliver the expected impact.

We have built a global, country-covering independent ATM-network offering qualitative cash services to all individuals and merchants in Belgium. We are the largest player on the Belgian market and aim at long term presence in the country.

Then we might have a challenging job for you as our Retail Network Management Expert within Batopin.

Your role

• You develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the network of CASH points including performance and local dynamics.
• You analyze the performance of the full network, market dynamics, and location potential to support decisions on the evolution of the network of CASH points
• You identify opportunities to optimize performance and long-term sustainability of the network of CASH points.
• You follow up on operational performance to support a seamless CASH point experience.
• You provide strategic insights, recommendations, and performance reporting to enable evidence-based decision making
• You will have regular contacts with Operations, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing and Customer Insights

What will you do

1. Analyse network performance and market dynamics

• Regularly review network performance indicators, compare CASH point locations and identify trends, deviations or structural issues.
• Combine internal data with local & international market dynamics, customer behaviour, accessibility and location characteristics to understand what drives performance.
• Assess the potential of existing and possible new locations to support the long-term evolution of the CASH point network.
• Follow up on local operational performance to support a seamless CASH point experience.

2. Identify and support network optimization initiatives

• Identify where interventions are needed, such as improving underperforming CASH points, strengthening accessibility or increasing operational efficiency.
• Support fact-based decisions on relocation, closure, investment or new location opportunities by preparing clear analyses and business cases.
• Support negotiation of commercial/rental agreements

3. Provide decision support and align stakeholders

What do we expect

• Master or bachelor with + 5years of relevant experience in retail network management or another relevant function.

• Experience in expansion & commercial real estate and proven knowledge of the Belgian retail landscape is a strong advantage.
• It’s a plus if you can also bring along experience in geomarketing.
