Televic Group is seeking a data science/AI/software engineer to join our international healthcare team in Belgium. You will develop next-generation communication platforms for nurse calls in hospitals and nursing homes, delivering AI-driven prototypes and software components integrated into the AQURA platform.

You will collaborate with academia and industry partners on research projects, applying ML, data analytics, and .NET Core development while ensuring GDPR/compliance and scalable deployment

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in engineering (software/computer science) with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of data store technologies (e.g. MySQL, ElasticSearch) and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience in deployment of ML and .NET Core development.
• Motivated to drive AI at Televic and eager to learn.

Responsabilités

• Work on human activity recognition solutions leveraging sensor data using AI and ML.
• Develop AI models to improve communication between patients and caregivers leveraging contextual data (e.g. prioritization, routing, explainability of alarms).
• Write software and build prototypes to validate the solution concept, integrated in the AQURA platform.
• Collaborate (with engineering and product management) on the long-term data science roadmap.
• Participate in both national and international research projects where you collaborate with academia and other industry partners.
• Assess/assist compliance with regulatory requirements in terms of GDPR, security, AI act.

As future innovations in Televic’s solutions will strongly leverage on data and AI, it is the ambition to build up this expertise in the team. To do so, we are on the lookout for a data science/AI/software engineer with a strong interest in data analytics, AI algorithm development in combination with software development skills (.NET).

Your role

You will be part of our international healthcare team, developing our next generation communication platform for nurse call system for hospitals and nursing homes. Your work will impact tens of thousands of patients daily, as well as the nurses taking care of them. You will join a small research team that conducts research in the field of data and AI and will implement software prototypes to demonstrate feasibility within the healthcare setting. You will collaborate in research projects with academic and other industry partners.

Key responsibilities

Work on human activity recognition solutions leveraging sensor data using AI and ML

Required Skills and Experience

You have a Master’s degree or higher in the field of engineering (preferably software/computer sciences) with 5+ years of relevant work experience.

You have solid understanding of data store technologies (e.g. MySQL, ElasticSearch,…), AI frameworks (e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch,…), and you know the pitfalls of various machine learning techniques.

Experience in deployment of ML.

Experience with .NET Core development.

Motivated to drive AI at Televic.
