Solora is seeking a Renewable Energy Service Technician to maintain and repair industrial energy installations in the Brussels region. The role involves on-site work on solar panels, BESS, charging infrastructure, and EMS, with a focus on independent fieldwork and accurate reporting.

Applicants should have an Electromechanics/Energy Technology degree (or equivalent), a Class B license, and good Dutch. French/English are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar installations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and charging infrastructure at B2B sites.
• Diagnose and repair on-site; replace defective inverters, solar panels, battery modules, charging stations, and other components.
• Conduct technical inspections using measurements, thermal imaging cameras, and drones, and report findings via the app.
• Bring systems back online and resolve monitoring issues.
• Manage schedule and administrative reporting independently via the company app and travel to customer sites in a fully equipped company van.

Renewable Energy Service Technician – Brussels Region

We’re currently expanding rapidly, and to manage our growing portfolio effectively, we’re actively seeking additional Service Technicians who make a difference in the field.

As a Service Technician, you’ll be part of the Operations & Maintenance team. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our industrial energy installations at customer sites in the Brussels region—ranging from solar panels and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to charging infrastructure and energy management systems (EMS). You’ll work independently on-site. For complex technical issues, you can always rely on your colleagues on the O&M team.

Your key responsibilities:

• You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial solar installations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and charging infrastructure at B2B customer sites.
• You diagnose and repair malfunctions on-site. You replace defective inverters, solar panels, battery modules, charging stations, and other components.
• You’ll conduct technical inspections using measurements, thermal imaging cameras, and drones, and report your findings via the app.
• You will bring systems back online and resolve monitoring issues .
• You manage your schedule and administrative reporting independently via the company app and head directly to the customer each day in a fully equipped company vehicle.
• hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or Energy Technology, or an A2/A1 diploma in (Electro)mechanics or Electricity, or equivalent education
• hold a Class B driver’s license.
• are familiar with electrical installations and measurements.
• want to become an expert in renewable energy, in the field that interests you most.
• have a good command of Dutch. Knowledge of French and English is a plus.
• work independently on-site and take ownership of your assignments.
• You systematically analyze technical problems and solve them in a goal-oriented manner.
• Work accurately and document completed tasks correctly.
• Do you already have experience with solar installations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), or charging infrastructure? If so, you’ll have an added advantage.
