Job summary

Speechify Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join our distributed team and build data pipelines powering model training and next-generation AI products.

You will work on petabyte-scale datasets, improve data quality and throughput, and collaborate with AI scientists to advance our models. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of backend software experience, strong Python/Bash skills, and a track record of production systems with data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building/operating production data pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independence.

Responsibilities

• Discover new data sources and build pipelines into training datasets.
• Build and optimize large-scale data-processing systems.
• Collaborate with AI Scientists to improve datasets.
• Own engineering projects from discovery to delivery.
