The Belgian energy operator’s asset planning team seeks a BI/data engineering professional. You will support budgeting, digitalisation and data governance across multiple disciplines, building scalable Databricks and ETL solutions with Python and Power BI. The assignment runs Jan 2027–Jul 2027, about 110 days, with a remote-work option and East Flanders base.

Qualificações

• At least one year of experience with Databricks, Python and Power BI, able to independently set up a technical solution.
• At least one year of experience with data management (ETL).
• At least one year of experience with setting up data models and acting as a BI consultant.
• Knowledge of historisation, audit trails and data governance.

Responsabilidades

• Join the asset planning team and support budgeting and digitalisation across five disciplines.
• Collect and analyse data from applications and internal/external parties to inform decisions.
• Develop the budget and multi-year investment plan, both technically and financially.
• Set up a Databricks structure and migrate Excel solutions to a central database.
• Ensure budget changes are tracked historically with traceability.
• Advise the team on data entry interfaces and bulk uploads and provide training support.
• Coordinate and monitor information coherence inside and outside the directorate.
