Axelera AI in Belgium is seeking an experienced Staff/Principal software engineer to own a major area of the Applications stack for the Voyager SDK. You will architect end-to-end pipelines, optimize memory and performance on heterogeneous hardware, and drive reusable architectures across teams.

You will mentor engineers, define best practices, and collaborate with product and customers to ship high-impact AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in the semiconductor and/or AI industry.
• Deep expertise with edge deployment frameworks (OpenVINO, TensorRT).
• Experience with GPU computing APIs (OpenCL, Vulkan).
• Proficient in Python and C++, with ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow).

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for a major area of the Voyager SDK application layer.
• Define reusable architectures for image processing and model deployment with cross-team collaboration.
• Drive integration of standard model frameworks into the SDK for low-code/no-code deployment.
• Architect and maintain pipelines with quantized models across hardware platforms.
• Mentor engineers, set documentation standards and represent tech capabilities to stakeholders.
• Ensure pipeline latency and throughput goals are met and identify bottlenecks.
