Qualifications

• Active CPC certification is required.
• Strong understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems and E/M guidelines.
• Experience with diverse clinical documentation types and coding challenges.
• Proficiencey in written and verbal communication, with attention to clarity and detail.
• Access to up-to-date ICD-10/CPT books and E/M guidelines.
• Familiarity with digital annotation tools is a plus.
• Commitment to quality and continuous learning in a fast-evolving healthcare/tech environment.

Responsabilités

• Annotate and review medical records, assigning ICD-10/CPT codes based on documentation.
• Apply E/M leveling using official guidelines to validate datasets.
• Keep coding references up-to-date to ensure compliance with current standards.
• Clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities with project stakeholders via written/verbal communication.
• Provide high-quality feedback to improve coding guidelines and workflows.
• Contribute domain expertise to creation/validation of medical code datasets for AI training.
