Job summary

Intellect is seeking a registered clinical psychologist or qualified counsellor to deliver assessments, therapy and case management across UK and West Africa. The role requires full professional fluency in French and English, and involves remote delivery, written reports and governance across markets.

You will own cases end to end, write clinical documentation, and contribute to protocols and client reporting while working within regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both French and English for clinical assessments and documentation.
• Registered clinical psychologist or qualified counsellor with current practiser rights.
• Master's degree in clinical psychology, counselling or related field.
• Minimum three years in clinical practice with direct assessment and therapy for adults.
• Experience in managing acute risk, including suicidality.
• Experience with fitness-for-work or return-to-work pathways.
• Able to work four hours daily, Mon–Fri, within UK/West Africa hours.
• Experience across multiple jurisdictions or with expatriate/multinational workforces.
• Understanding of remote industrial/mining/resources environments.
• Additional language capability, particularly Mandarin.
• Experience contributing to clinical protocols, risk frameworks or SOPs.
• Prior case management or clinical account experience in a commercial setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct acute risk and welfare assessments in French or English.
• Deliver individual counselling and psychotherapy virtually.
• Conduct fitness-for-work assessments and produce clinical documentation.
• Write risk assessments, session notes and return-to-work memos to standard.
• Delivery is capped to protect case management availability.
• Own each case end to end from referral through closure.
• Align initial support plan with client on-site teams and cadence.
• Coordinate with internal helpline and network teams on non-deliverables.
• Review open case list and follow up to keep progress.
• Co-develop and maintain clinical protocols and SOPs (French/English).
• Deliver clinical training to client staff in both languages.
• Build in-market provider network for capacity expansion.
