EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking a Full stack Developer (Java) for remote work within the EU. The successful candidate will integrate with the Development team and collaborate with a major client's IT team on site during the initial assignment.

You will develop back-end and front-end features, design REST and SOAP APIs, ensure secure coding, write tests, monitor performance, and optimize across the stack using Java/Spring, Angular and Docker.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 12 years.
• At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 5 years of recent hands-on experience developing Java applications with IoC frameworks such as Spring.
• At least 5 years of recent experience with relational databases and SQL.
• At least 2 years of recent hands-on experience with a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework such as Angular.
• Demonstrated experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD, Docker and cloud/container-based deployment.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in which they personally performed full-stack development covering all the elements components above simultaneously.
• Proven practical experience working within Agile/Scrum or comparable software development methodologies.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsabilités

• Development of back-end website applications.
• Apply secure development practices, including input validation, authentication and authorisation, secrets management, dependency management, protection against common web vulnerabilities, secure logging, and appropriate handling of sensitive data.
• Design responsive applications and develop APIs, both REST and SOAP.
• Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end.
• Write automated unit, integration and where appropriate end-to-end tests.
• Use application monitoring, structured logging and tracing to diagnose production and non-production issues.
• Diagnose application, database, integration and performance issues across the full stack.
• Design applications with appropriate consideration for security, maintainability, observability, scalability and performance.
• Compile and analyse data, processes, configuration, dependencies and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform unit/integration testing, debug, fix, and validate code changes.
• Develop and maintain features across the entire stack, from designing user interfaces and consuming APIs to implementing server-side business logic and database interactions.
