Job summary

Mercor seeks a skilled Music Audio Expert fluent in French to evaluate AI-generated lyrics and audio outputs. This remote contract role lasts up to six months with an immediate start and a commitment of 10+ hours per week.

You will score musical training data quality, write music in the specified domain language, and follow English-language directions to ensure high-quality collaboration and timely delivery of project milestones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer.
• College degree in music, involving performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Native or near-native proficiency in both French and English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards in music.
• Score the quality of musical training data to enhance model performance.
• Write music in the domain language listed in the title, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Understand and follow directions in the English language for effective collaboration.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
