BairesDev®, a leader in technology projects for 15+ years, is seeking a Data Architect specialized in GCP/BigQuery to design data architectures and build data pipelines that support AI-driven modernization and legacy COBOL systems regenerated in Java, Go, or .NET on GCP.

In this client-facing role, you will own data layer decisions, collaborate with distributed engineering teams, and help deliver scalable analytics solutions while enjoying 100% remote work, flexible hours, and competitive

Qualifications

8+ years of cloud architecture experience on GCP.
Expertise in BigQuery, data pipelines, and analytics build-outs.
Experience modernizing legacy/mainframe systems to Java, Go, or .NET.
Consulting or professional services background with client-facing delivery.
Experience with AI engineering practices such as harness engineering or spec-driven design.
Strong requirements gathering skills and test-driven design.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

Design and build data architecture on GCP, including BigQuery and analytics pipelines.
Architect data flows for re-platformed systems in modernization projects.
Define scalable data pipelines and analytics build-outs for modernization efforts.
Collaborate with client stakeholders and distributed engineering teams in a fully GCP-based environment.
