Job summary

Bruxelles, Belgium—a major financial institution seeks a Dynamic Information Risk Manager to join the IT Security team to identify, assess, manage, and report security risks, focusing on application security and secure configuration from a second line of defense perspective.

You will lead risk oversight, develop policies, ensure regulatory compliance, advise stakeholders, monitor threats, and document findings while driving security awareness and improvements across the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in information security or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of application security and hardening standards.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to challenge and evaluate technical implementations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to persuade stakeholders on risk priorities.
• Fluent in Dutch or French with proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, analyze, and monitor security risks to ensure business continuity.
• Develop and maintain security policies within your domain.
• Oversee risk management processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate effectiveness of controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Advise stakeholders on implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Analyze security incidents and contribute to improvements.
• Monitor emerging threats and assess their organizational impact.
• Document and report risks, findings, and mitigation plans.
