Prolific is seeking Aerospace Engineers to join its Open Source CAD Research for AI training. This freelance, fully remote role lets you choose when you work, with payments via PayPal. You will help capture how experienced engineers approach CAD design and validation tasks to train AI models.

Joining the talent pool opens doors to similar paid projects. Screener paid at $12/h, and selected tasks pay up to $120/h. Pay is on a freelance basis with flexible hours and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong proficiency with open‑source CAD software (e.g., FreeCAD, KiCad, or similar).
• Comfortable using Linux and/or Windows environments
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• A reliable internet connection and access to a computer

Responsabilités

• Design physical objects suitable for 3D printing using open‑source CAD software.
• Complete engineering design tasks while your workflow, including tool usage, clicks, and design decisions, is captured to help train AI models on engineering problem‑solving.
• Write and execute Python validation scripts to support your design workflow.
• Complete tasks across multiple complexity levels: Simple: ~4 hours; Moderate: ~4–24 hours; Complex: ~24–40 hours
