A leading industrial company is seeking a Reliability Engineer & PPM Coordinator in Belgium to implement a multi-year Reliability Improvement Plan and optimize maintenance strategies. You will handle preventive maintenance, conduct risk analyses, and improve equipment reliability. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance planning, with strong SAP skills. About the role

As a Reliability Engineer & PPM Coordinator, you will play a critical role in implementing a multi-year Reliability Improvement Plan and optimizing equipment maintenance strategies.

You’ll lead the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs, conduct risk analyses, and implement asset strategies to improve equipment reliability and availability. Your work will directly impact plant performance, safety, and cost efficiency.

About you
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics, Electrical and/or Automation.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in reliability engineering, maintenance planning, or asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of PPM, RCM, FMEA or Weibull, and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • >Proficiency in SAP and maintenance management systems (MMS).
  • Ability to analyze production loss and cost data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Experience with equipment condition monitoring and reliability tools (e.g., Weibull analysis).
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including maintenance, operations, and engineering.
  • Ability to manage and optimize spare parts inventory and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and training capabilities.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
