Deloitte Belgium is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Controller to strengthen the Accounting and Regulatory Reporting team in the Center of Expertise within the Central Finance department. You will support monthly closings, run analyses, and prepare BE GAAP and IFRS reports for statutory and consolidation purposes.

The role requires a Master’s in Accounting or Economics, BE GAAP expertise, and strong Excel skills. English and Dutch fluency is essential in a hybrid Belgium setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Economics.
• BE GAAP knowledge is required.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel; SAP experience is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Support the monthly and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting, legal, and tax regulations.
• Perform detailed analyses of profit and loss and balance sheet movements on a monthly and ad hoc basis.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and reconcile data across different accounting ledgers.
• Collaborate closely with accountants, central finance controllers and controllers from various business units to obtain accurate and timely information for analysis.
• Review and propose accounting treatments for new transactions within the firm.
• Assist in the preparation of tax declarations.
• Document and optimise internal controls across various business cycles.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for internal and external audit processes.
