Burdock Group is seeking a Regulatory Engineer in Antwerp to review technical and regulatory documentation submitted by contractors and to assess DoCs and DoPs for compliance with European directives such as MD, PED, LVD, EMC, RoHS, and CPR.

You will coordinate with project teams, manage documents in SharePoint, ensure regulatory completeness before commissioning, and apply your engineering degree with strong analytical and communication skills; Dutch is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Experience with CE marking, regulatory compliance, or technical document reviews is a strong advantage.
• Junior engineers with strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with digital document management systems; SharePoint experience is highly desirable.
• Preferable Dutch language, the official language for regulatory certificates.
• Able to work independently while maintaining close coordination with contractors and project teams.

Responsabilités

• Review compliance with local requirements and standards, including VLAREM and AREI and Fire & Gas requirements.
• Discuss documentation findings and compliance gaps with contractors and project stakeholders.
• Manage and track documentation using a SharePoint-based document management system.
• Support the project team in ensuring all regulatory documentation is complete and compliant before commissioning.

• Machinery Directive (MD)
• Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
• Low Voltage Directive (LVD)
• Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC)
• RoHS Directive
• Construction Products Regulation (CPR)
• Review compliance with local requirements and standards, including VLAREM, AREI, and Fire & Gas (F&G) requirements.
• Discuss documentation findings and compliance gaps with contractors and project stakeholders.
• Manage and track documentation using a SharePoint-based document management system.
• Support the project team in ensuring all regulatory documentation is complete and compliant before commissioning.
