Synergie Diegem is seeking a Rate Management Specialist to ensure accurate pricing data and smooth auto-rating across our global operations. You will manage customer contracts, tariffs, and costing data in our systems, supporting our digitalization journey.

The role requires attention to detail, at least 2 years in Ocean Freight pricing or operations, strong communication, and fluency in English and Dutch; Microsoft 365 proficiency is expected.

As a Rate Management Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient pricing processes that power our global operations. You’ll manage customer contracts, tariffs, and costing data across our systems, enabling seamless auto-rating and auto-costing and supporting our journey toward full digitalization.

Your key responsibilities as a Rate Management Specialist:

• Ensure timely and accurate data-input of rates and costs


• Manage automated rate and costing processes, including integration with tools


• Partner closely with commercial and operational teams to understand customer needs and ensure correct and efficient rate implementation.


• Assess local impacts of global customer accounts


• Analyze rate and cost accuracy, identify optimization opportunities, and drive enhancements in automation and digitalization.


• Investigate and resolve system-related issues across rate management platforms, including CW1, RMS, Cargosphere, and other local tools.
