Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Rail Transportation & Logistics Coordinator to ensure the smooth execution of rail transport activities across Europe from a strategic logistics hub in Belgium.

You will coordinate daily operations, manage disruptions, monitor capacity and KPIs, liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners, and support reporting and cost documentation in a fast-paced international environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily rail transportation activities across Europe.
• Manage transport disruptions, delays, and operational escalations.
• Act as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders and external transport partners.
• Monitor wagon availability, utilization, and transport capacity.
• Support sourcing of additional transport capacity when required.
• Prepare operational reports and track logistics KPIs.
• Follow up transport costs, documentation, and invoicing processes.
