Job summary

Our client in Niel, Belgium, is expanding its lab dedicated to innovative and sustainable specialty chemicals and surfactants, seeking an R&D lab technician to join the team.

You will develop and improve formulations, perform stability and particle-size tests, investigate deviations, and support calibration and safety procedures in a compliant lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve formulations on surfactants for clients and internally.
• Conduct stability tests over time and temperature (pH, viscosity, particle size, titrations, etc.).
• Investigate the performance of surface-active substances under various temperature conditions and translate results into technical recommendations for process improvements.
• Support investigating and solving deviations by analyzing causes, performing repeat tests and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist with maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Work according to procedures and safety standards.

Onze klant in Niel is een bedrijf actief in het leveren van innovatieve en duurzame specialty chemicals en surfactanten. Het lab is gespecialiseerd in formulatiestabiliteit, deeltjesmeting en micronisatie van suspensies. Momenteel zoeken we een R&D laborant om het lab verder uit te breiden.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Ism R&D ontwikkel en verbeter je formulaties op surfactanten iov klanten en intern.
• Daarnaast voer je stabiliteitstesten uit ifv tijd en temperatuur (pH, viscositeit, deeltjesgrootte, titraties,...)
• Je onderzoekt de prestaties van oppervlakteactieve stoffen onder verschillende temperatuuromstandigheden en vertaalt de resultaten naar technische aanbevelingen voor procesverbeteringen.
• Je ondersteunt bij het onderzoeken en oplossen van afwijkingen door oorzaken te analyseren, herhaaltesten uit te voeren en corrigerende en preventieve maatregelen te implementeren.
• Je bent mee verantwoordelijk voor onderhoud en kalibratatie van lab apparatuur.
• Je werkt volgens de procedures en veiligheidsnormen.
