HMS Networks is seeking an R&D Firmware Engineer for our Gateway/Firmware team in Nivelles. You will develop and maintain firmware components, from low-level drivers to embedded applications, working closely with cross-functional teams and Product Owners in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes contributing to new features, improving existing solutions, and resolving product issues throughout the lifecycle, with a strong focus on collaboration and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (software environment).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory).
• Solid experience with asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of C++ is a plus.
• Full professional proficiency in English and French (mandatory).

Responsabilités

• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies within the firmware team.
• Contribute to firmware development for our product range.
• Analyze technical and business requirements to translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Collaborate daily and coordinate with the Firmware team and bi-weekly with other firmware teams and programs.
• Support the team in adapting to new products and evolving technologies.
• Contribute positively within a dynamic environment.
