UCLouvain seeks to recruit a full-time academic in Quantitative Finance: Innovation and Transition. The role sits within the Louvain School of Management (LSM) and LIDAM, with teaching in AFIN fields in English and French across campuses in Louvain-la-Neuve and Mons.

You will develop research programs in finance using data-driven and quantitative methods, supervise theses, and contribute to society through knowledge transfer. Start date 1 September 2027; tenure after probation.

Qualifications

• PhD in Management, Economics or Finance with a focus on quantitative applications.
• University teaching experience with formal assessments is preferred.
• International publications indicating active research.
• Strong network of international collaborators and possible stays abroad.

Responsabilités

• Teach primarily in the finance/AFIN area across study cycles in English and French.
• Lead and conduct research programs in finance with data-driven approaches.
• Supervise master and PhD theses; participate in service and governance.
• Engage with LSM, LIDAM and LFIN to enhance teaching and research visibility.
