Johnson & Johnson is seeking a QC Investigation Coordinator for the CAR-T hub in Beerse, Belgium. This role supports daily QC operations and leads investigations, ensuring timely corrective actions within a GMP-regulated setting. Weekend hours from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM are required.

Qualifications include a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry/biotechnology or related field, knowledge of cGMP and FDA/EU guidance, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

CAR-T

CAR-T is an innovative treatment for blood cancer that harnesses the power of a patient’s own immune system. By genetically modifying the patient’s T-cells to recognize and eliminate cancer cells, this advanced technology offers new hope to patients for whom other therapies have provided limited or no benefit. To support the expansion of CAR-T treatment capacity in Europe, we are looking for talented and motivated colleagues to join our CAR-T hub. The Innovative Medicine Supply Chain Group, a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is recruiting a QC CAR-T Investigation Coordinator based in Beerse, Belgium. This position is part of the weekend team, working Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting daily QC operations in close collaboration with supervisors, analysts, Production, Warehouse, and QA.


• Leading QC investigations and preparing final investigation reports based on thorough root cause analysis.


• You will define and implement corrective actions, monitor their effectiveness, and ensure timely execution and closure.


• For cross-departmental QC investigations, you will coordinate a multidisciplinary team and act as the QC representative.


• Developing and delivering training or awareness sessions within QC.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field; or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.


• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA/EU guidance is required.


• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, flexibly, and accurately.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably within Quality Control, is an advantage.


• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.


• Exposure to and practical experience with molecular and cell biology techniques, including PCR, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Cell Culture, and Mycoplasma testing, would be highly beneficial and is considered a preferred qualification.

Salary

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: €52.000,00 - €82.685,00.
