Job summary

Vulcain Engineering Belgium seeks a QA Engineer to join its Leuven-area team. You will support the QA Manager Production in ensuring products meet customer and regulatory requirements for both products and manufacturing processes.

You will work on continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, CAPA, and training aligned with career development, collaborating closely with production, maintenance, and engineering to embed a zero-defect mindset on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Must have a higher scientific degree and relevant experience in quality assurance in production.
• GMP or HACCP knowledge is required or beneficial.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement of product and process quality per GEMBA principles.
• Perform trend analysis of non-conformities, complaints and product characteristics.
• Coordinate audits and supplier/customer interactions as needed.
• Provide GMP training and embed right-first-time mindset on the shop floor.
• Manage CAPAs, deviations, and release criteria with traceability and records.
• Support root-cause elimination and preventive actions across production teams.
