Araani, a Belgium-based company, seeks a certifications specialist to own the product-certification portfolio in fire safety. You will lead certification campaigns with notified bodies and test labs to achieve final approvals and maintain audit-ready technical files.

You will work with R&D and Operations, ensuring new products meet EN 54, BOSEC, CNPP, VdS, FM, UL and ISO standards. Fluent Dutch and English are required; you will monitor evolving standards to translate them into product

Qualifications

• Engineering background in Electronics, Electromechanics or ICT.
• Fluent Dutch and English.
• Proven project-management skills across internal teams and external bodies.

What You’ll Do

You own Araani’s product-certification portfolio in fire safety (EN 54, BOSEC, CNPP, VdS, FM, UL, ISO).

You run certification campaigns with notified bodies and test labs, to final approval.

You keep the technical files, test documentation and certificates audit-ready.

You run the QA around certification: test plans, non-conformities and corrective actions.

You work with R&D so new products and changes meet the standards by design.

You track evolving standards and regulations and turn them into product requirements.

You report directly to the CTO and work closely with R&D and Operations.

Who You Are

You are structured, detail-oriented and keep your files and projects up to date.

A problem solver who finds a solution for every hick-up along the road.

You have strong project-management skills, across internal teams and external bodies.

An engineering background (Electronics, Electromechanics or ICT), or a strong affinity.

You speak fluently Dutch & English.

Bonus Points

Experience with CE marking and EU product rules.

Background in fire safety or surveillance product certification.

You can express yourself in French or German (doesn't have to be perfect).
