Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent in English and French, Dutch is a plus.

Job Description

Key responsibilities of the Purchasing Expert:

• Compile data and craft marketing presentations to support negotiation strategy.
• Help structure negotiation arguments alongside partner‑company negotiators.
• Create decision-ready documentation for internal stakeholders.
• Analyse new product assortments and manage pricing data in selection tools.
• Facilitate communication with shared‑service teams and country teams.
• Manage administrative duties: meeting setups, minutes, data entry during annual negotiations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects (category analysis, performance metrics, tool optimisation).

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Purchasing Expert profile:

• A bachelor's or Master's degree in international business, procurement, or agri‑food.
• Fluent English and French, Dutch is a plus
• At least 3 years of experience in FMCG or Food sector
• Proactive, can‑do attitude with strong communication skills.
• Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and teamwork capability.
