Hydro Building Systems Belgium is seeking a hands-on technician to develop aluminium window, door and sliding systems at our Lichtervelde facility. You will prepare profiles for CNC, assemble products, and build prototypes for R&D testing, with close collaboration across international teams.

Training in woodworking or metalworking is valued, as is basic mechanics knowledge. Dutch fluency and familiarity with Word/Excel/Outlook are expected; English/French are a plus.

Qualifications

• Training in woodworking or metalworking, or equivalent level through experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and a practical, solution-oriented approach.
• Interest in prototypes, product development and testing.
• An accurate and quality-oriented way of working.
• The motivation to learn and collaborate with colleagues from R&D.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Prepare aluminium profiles for the CNC machine and assemble windows, doors, sliding systems and verandas.
• Build prototypes according to the test file and work with R&D on improvements.
• Carry out wind, water and air tightness tests and other mechanical tests.
• Monitor test progress, report results and propose improvements.
• Prepare materials, coordinate internal and external orders and logistics.
• Support official internal tests and tests at external laboratories.
• Work safely and keep the workshop orderly.
