Artemys is seeking a Project Manager - Photovoltaic for Watt Matters in Brussels. You will oversee from conception to completion medium and large residential PV projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring contract terms, timing, budget, quality, and safety are met.

Native French is required; Dutch and English are an asset. The role offers a full-time contract or independent status with a competitive salary package and opportunities for growth within a dynamic energy-transition team.

On behalf of our client Watt Matters, a fast-growing, innovative Belgian company specialized in designing, installing, financing, and operating energy-producing facilities, we are looking for a Project Manager - Photovoltaic, who is passionate about the energy transition, and who will manage the growing number of large residential photovoltaic projects, thus contributing to the company’s mid-term goal to become a low-carbon society.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Watt Matters specialises in designing, installing, financing, and operating energy-producing systems for residential and public buildings. Its technical solutions and services include installing boiler rooms and cogeneration units, heat pumps, photovoltaic systems, remote monitoring and control systems, and building insulation.

Watt Matters is committed to accelerating the energy transition and becoming a low-carbon society in the near future. It also aims to become a leading player in the energy transition market.

To address a rising number of photovoltaic projects, they are now in need of a Project Manager - Photovoltaic, who will coordinate from A to Z medium and large residential photovoltaic projects mainly in Brussels, which will involve multiple stakeholders.

As Project Manager - Photovoltaic, you will be actively responsible for key project aspects: contract management, timing, budget, quality, and safety. Your key tasks will be as follows:

• Contract management: supervise all phases of projects, from defining contractual terms and conditions to designing and commissioning
• Understand and manage project requirements; manage and follow up on contract execution; define the right course of action and take relevant steps in line with the agreed contractual terms
• Ensure that project deadlines and key milestones are met in accordance with the agreed terms
• Monitor and control project status concerning budget spending
• Perform risk assessment and manage risks throughout the project duration
• Be the SPOC for clients, as well as for internal and external stakeholders and partners - maintain effective ongoing communication with project teams and clients to ensure that client demands are fully met
• Communicate with and manage suppliers - coordinate their work in accordance with client requirements
• Manage Project File and keep it up to date
• Provide regular and efficient reporting on project status, budget use, and KPIs
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Effectively balance your time between office work, homework, and site follow-up
• To successfully execute all your tasks, you will be provided with the necessary training, and you will have at your disposal all organisational resources, including the help and support of our team of professionals

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven technical knowledge and experience in managing medium to large-scale projects
• Experience in managing different project stakeholders (project teams, clients, subcontractors,…)
• Good communication skills and the capacity to build and maintain trustworthy and sustainable client relationships
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to adapt your work pace to project timelines
• Willingness to keep abreast of new developments in the sector and new technologies
• Effective use of report writing tools for tracking your project activities, i.e. recording project milestones and deliverables
• Hard worker, motivated, result-oriented
• Proactive, meticulous, and anticipative mindset
• Eager to learn and face new challenges continually
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making mentality
• Autonomous and flexible, but also a collaborative team player
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment
• Recognised certification or training in Project Management (PMP, PMBOK, Prince2,…) will be considered a plus
• Native proficiency in French; knowledge of Dutch and English is an asset
