GWE is seeking a Project Manager to expand our Engineering & Technology team in LATAM. You will lead industrial wastewater and water treatment projects from contract award through commissioning, coordinating cross-functional teams across borders.

You will manage planning, budget, risk, and contractual obligations, serve as main client contact, and drive stakeholder alignment while ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction. Willingness to travel internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience managing EPC projects in an industrial environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsabilités

• Lead the execution of industrial wastewater and water treatment projects from contract award through commissioning and project close out.
• Oversee project planning, execution, budget control, risk management and contractual obligations to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate procurement activities and follow-up deliveries, civil works and electro- mechanical works.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, expectation management and customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders across engineering, procurement, execution, start up and management teams.
• Facilitate effective collaboration between multicultural teams located across different countries and timezones.
• Drive alignment among stakeholders with different priorities, ensuring decisions are communicated clearly and executed effectively.
• Prepare and present project status updates, forecasts, risks, and mitigation plans to management and other stakeholders.
• Report directly to management.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

Your Profile

• Open to candidates based in Latin America / LATAM time zones
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects in an industrial environment. Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants is a strong advantage
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, influence decisions, and navigate challenging conversations both internally and externally.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, technical specialists, and senior management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Analytical, solution-oriented, and comfortable making decisions in a dynamic project environment.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required. Additional languages are considered an asset.
