A consulting firm in Antwerp is seeking a Project Manager Fiber Networks to oversee the rollout of fiber projects across cities. As Project Manager Fiber Networks, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end fiber rollout projects across cities and municipalities in the Antwerp region. You’ll work closely with project leads and site coordinators to ensure seamless execution — from planning and resource allocation to delivery and client satisfaction.

You’ll lead with a mix of structure and pragmatism: visiting sites regularly to stay connected with operations while keeping strategic oversight of budget, timing, and quality. Alongside that, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for the client and local authorities, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring expectations are consistently met.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, plan, and monitor the full project lifecycle for fiber network rollouts.
• Manage budgets, schedules, KPIs, and overall project performance.
• Coach and support site managers and technical coordinators to drive efficiency and quality.
• Oversee the allocation of resources and continuously optimize planning.
• Ensure all works are executed safely, on time, and to specification.
• Maintain strong relationships with operators, contractors, and municipal stakeholders.
• Represent the company during coordination meetings and client reviews.
• Promote sustainable and environmentally conscious solutions throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, ICT, or technical project management.
• Experience in telecom, utilities, or infrastructure projects is a strong plus.
• Skilled in Excel and comfortable with digital project tools (IT-minded).
• Fluent in Dutch, with at least basic French communication ability.
• Natural people leader with strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, structured, and able to balance field reality with big-picture thinking.
• Quality-driven, cost-conscious, and always safety-aware.
