Arcadis is seeking a qualified Industrial Engineer with substantial project management experience to lead multidisciplinary initiatives from design through implementation in Belgium. The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with client quality expectations.

You will manage planning, resources, and commercial performance while maintaining cash flow and coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineer in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent through experience in MEP or HVAC.
• Solid experience as a project manager enabling management of multidisciplinary projects.
• Communicatively strong, persuasive, results-oriented and customer-oriented.

Responsabilités

• You are responsible for the completion of the handover with the Pursuit Leader.
• You establish a Project Management Plan as defined in the Initiate and Plan Project phase of the Delivery to Results Quality Procedures.
• You ensure the Project Management Plan is followed by team members.
• You deliver or exceed on the commercial plan for the project and identify margin improvement opportunities.
• You aim to maintain a positive cash balance through prompt invoicing and chasing of aged receivables/debt.
• You work with the Resource Manager/Planner to identify the best person for the project and ensure resources are correctly allocated to project and tasks.
• You assure that client’s quality expectations and needs as defined by the PM are properly understood and reflected.
• You monitor and update scopes of work, with appropriate schedules and budgets.
• You communicate with the client variations that may impact planned scope, budget, schedule, content, and quality during execution.
• You communicate the change process (internal and external) with team, where appropriate, i.e., not addressed by PM.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the completion of the handover with the Pursuit Leader.
• You establish a Project Management Plan as defined in the Initiate and Plan Project phase of the Delivery to Results Quality Procedures. This should consider the fit to size principal stating that the plan should be commensurate with the project risk.
• You ensure the Project Management Plan is followed by team members.
• You deliver or exceed on the commercial plan for the project and identify margin improvement opportunities.
• You aim to maintain a positive cash balance through prompt invoicing and chasing of aged receivables/debt.
• You work with the Resource Manager/Planner to identify the best person for the project and ensure resources are correctly allocated to project and tasks.
• You assure that client’s quality expectations and needs as defined by the PM are properly understood and reflected.

Your background

• You are an Industrial Engineer in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent through your experience in MEP or HVAC.
• Your solid experience as a project manager enables you to manage multidisciplinary projects, from design to implementation phase. You are also familiar with resource planning, quality monitoring and budget control.
• You are communicatively strong, persuasive, results-oriented and above all customer-oriented.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French and you have a good proficiency in English.
