Burdock Consultants Belgium NV is seeking a Project Engineer with a focus on driving completions and turnover. You will support the Project Manager, deputising as required, and coordinate handover of systems to commissioning according to priorities and schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, 5–10 years in large EPC/EPCM projects in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector, and fluency in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in project engineering or construction engineering on large EPC or EPCM projects within the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
• English and Dutch compulsory.
• A valid VCA-VOL certificate or willing to do the VCA exam before start date.

Responsabilités

• To support the Project Manager, in the performance of his/her duties, deputising as required.
• Coordinate and drive the handover of systems to commissioning in line with priorities and schedule
• Support the coordination and resolution of outstanding punch items, documentation, and other impediments
