CTRL-F NV is seeking a Project Engineer to shape technical projects and translate them into clear, feasible installations within the Benelux. You will serve as a key link between sales, engineering, installation, and service, ensuring technical soundness and proper monitoring of projects.

You will draw up layouts in AutoCAD, visit clients for site assessments, and collaborate with engineers on feasibility, timing, and integration of industrial machinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electromechanics or equivalent technical education.
• Fluent English; Dutch language skills important for internal collaboration.
• Analytical thinker with structured work approach and client liaison experience.

We are looking for a Project Engineer on behalf of our client to help shape technical projects and translate them into clear, feasible and customer-focused installations within the Benelux. In this role, you will act as a key link between sales, engineering, installation and service, ensuring that projects are technically sound, practically feasible and properly monitored. Your responsibilities are varied and combine project monitoring with technical draughting and consultation on site and at the client’s premises. You will be involved in both greenfield and brownfield projects and will actively contribute ideas on the best layout, connection and integration of industrial machinery and installations.

• You will draw up technical layouts in AutoCAD and develop existing layouts based on on-site measurements.
• You will visit clients in the Benelux to accurately assess the site or project situation.
• You will liaise with the project team and engineers regarding technical requirements, feasibility and timing.
• You will take into account steam, power, weights, technical constraints and existing infrastructure.
• You translate the client’s needs into a comprehensive, technically sound solution.
• You monitor projects closely and communicate clearly, both internally and externally, on their progress.
• You adopt a friendly, professional approach when liaising with clients.

You report to the project manager and work in an environment where technical precision, collaboration and a healthy degree of independence are key. Voor deze functie zoeken we een technisch profiel met een sterke basis in elektromechanica en een gezonde interesse in projectmatig werken. Door de combinatie van tekenwerk, klantcontact en technische afstemming is dit een rol voor iemand die analytisch denkt, gestructureerd werkt en vlot communiceert.

• Je beschikt over een bachelor or master in elektromechanica of een gelijkwaardige technische opleiding.
• Je hebt idealiter enkele jaren ervaring.
• Je beheerst AutoCAD vlot; kennis van Inventor or SolidWorks is een plus.
• Je hebt een sterke technische affiniteit, met bijzondere interesse in elektriciteit en bij voorkeur ook kennis van mechanica, hydraulica en stoomtechniek.
• Ervaring in een industriële omgeving is een belangrijke meerwaarde, bijvoorbeeld binnen piping, sprinklers, technische installaties of vergelijkbare projecten.
• Je communiceert vlot in Engels, want dat is de voertaal binnen de functie; Nederlands is belangrijk voor de interne samenwerking.
• Je bent bereid om je regelmatig te verplaatsen binnen de Benelux voor opmetingen en projectopvolging.
• Je bent nauwkeurig, klantgericht, flexibel en weet ook in uitdagende gesprekken professioneel en standvastig te blijven.
• Kennis van AREI is mooi meegenomen.
