Autrosystems is a fast-growing distributor of Autronica fire detection and protection systems in Belgium. As a Fire Detection Project Engineer, you will bridge design and project completion while ensuring compliance with Belgian and European standards.

You will prepare layout plans, test reports for commissioning, and as-built documentation. We provide onboarding and ongoing training to help you become an expert in our field and to support your career development within our growing team.

Autrosystems is a fast-growing specialized company responsible for the distribution of Autronica in Belgium. Autronica is a Norwegian manufacturer of high-tech systems for fire detection and fire protection.

As a subsidiary of ATS Group, we are part of the Luminus Group. As a certified company, we provide design, supply, installation through third parties, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection installations at our customers in the industrial and tertiary sectors.

Function

Are you the technical expert who wants to make buildings safer? As a Fire Detection Project Engineer, you’ll serve as the key link between the initial design and the successful completion of complex fire detection projects. You’ll ensure that everything complies with the strictest Belgian and European standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing layout plans and diagrams in accordance with industry standards or the client’s specifications, both during the proposal phase and the project phase.
• Preparing test reports, lists, and documents for the commissioning of new installations
• Preparing and managing the as-built documentation for the systems

Don’t have any experience with fire detection yet? We’ll provide a thorough onboarding period and ongoing training opportunities to help you become—and, above all, remain—an expert in our field. All of this is designed to prepare you for your main responsibility: designing fire detection systems from start to finish for our industrial end customers and clients in the tertiary sector. Step by step, you’ll learn more about risk analyses, fire scenarios, and all relevant standards and regulations. In the medium term, we are also committed to providing you with the necessary opportunities for career advancement within our young and growing organization.

Profile

In addition to a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, we place great importance on your personality. Any gaps in your technical knowledge will be filled through in-house training. Here are the qualities we’re looking for:
