Role Overview:

We are looking for a Program Manager to lead the development and rollout of a comprehensive data management strategy aligned with business objectives. You will work with business and technical stakeholders to define data products, shape a scalable data architecture, establish governance practices, and enable effective self-service data capabilities.

This role is suited to an analytical and collaborative professional who combines strong project management skills with practical knowledge of data management, cloud-based data platforms, and data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive data management strategy aligned with business priorities and objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data products, expected outcomes, and delivery priorities.
• Guide the design of a data architecture that supports scalable, secure, and effective self-service capabilities.
• Establish and maintain data governance policies, standards, roles, and processes.
• Support data architecture and modelling activities, including metadata management.
• Develop a training and adoption plan to support the successful rollout of the data strategy.
• Plan and coordinate programme activities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Translate complex data concepts into clear recommendations for business and technical audiences.
• Work with delivery teams to ensure the strategy can be implemented effectively across cloud-based data platforms.
• Monitor progress and adapt plans as business needs and project requirements evolve.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in programme or project management, data management, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of data management principles, data architecture, and data modelling.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and data governance tools.
• Knowledge of metadata management and governance practices.
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive delivery against agreed objectives.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
