Owens Corning in Tessenderlo, Belgium, seeks a Product and Systems Researcher to support development through testing, quality control, and procedure development. This hands-on role combines engineering theory with laboratory and field work, testing products, third-party materials, and insulation systems.

You will interpret results, prepare technical reports, and translate findings into practical recommendations for products, systems, and customer support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering sciences with building or civil focus.
• Experience in applied scientific research, product testing or laboratory work.
• Proficient in English and Dutch, written and spoken.
• Strong MS Office skills and documentation/reporting capability.
• On-site location in Tessenderlo, Belgium, with possible travel within Belgium or abroad.

Responsabilités

• Plan, prepare, execute and document laboratory tests safely and efficiently.
• Deliver chemical, physicochemical and mechanical evaluations of products and systems.
• Interpret results and produce clear, actionable technical reports and recommendations.
• Develop and improve test procedures in coordination with standards managers.
• Translate site challenges into lab setups to support testing and investigations.
