DESOTEC is recruiting a process operator in Rumbeke, Belgium to ensure optimal production of regenerated carbon and to operate, monitor and shutdown installations as needed. You will contribute to process optimization and safety while maintaining high quality output alongside a close-knit team of nine colleagues.

Qualifications

• Diploma: You hold at least a TSO diploma (Technical Secondary Education) or have equivalent experience in process techniques, electromechanica, electronics, or chemistry.
• Technical Knowledge: You are able to read technical and electrical diagrams (P&ID).
• Experience: Preference is given to candidates with experience as a process operator in an industrial environment.
• Languages: You speak Dutch and English well.
• Attitude: You are analytical, eager to learn, and can stay calm under pressure. Safety is always your top priority.
• Work schedule: You work 39 hours per week (morning shift: 5:48–14:00 and afternoon shift: 13:48–22:00)

Responsabilités

• Responsibility for quality: You are responsible for the optimal production of high-quality regenerated carbon. By carefully adjusting the process parameters, you ensure excellent production output.
• Operational responsibility: You start, operate, monitor, and shut down various technical installations, ensuring the production process runs smoothly without interruptions.
• Problem solving: When technical issues arise, you analyze the cause and perform the necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure the production process remains efficient.
• Process optimization: You actively contribute ideas for improving current processes and suggest adjustments that increase the efficiency and sustainability of production.
• Forklift operation: You perform various tasks using the forklift, ensuring smooth and safe operations throughout the production process.
