Michael Page is recruiting a Process Expert for a global food manufacturing client in Brussels. The role focuses on optimizing chocolate processing operations, leading NPI, and driving continuous improvement across liquid and solid chocolate lines.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and experience in FMCG/food processing, with strong knowledge of chocolate technologies and familiarity with SAP/MES. Fluent English is required, French/Dutch preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or similar).
• First experience in FMCG / food / process industry.
• Familiarity with chocolate processing technologies: mixing, refining, conching, tempering, depositing.
• Understanding of rheology and process parameters.
• Familiarity with SAP, MES or industrial automation tools.
• Hands-on mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence, train and engage operational teams.
• Fluent in English (and French/Dutch preferred).

Responsabilités

• Lead new product introduction (NPI), process transfers, and factory trials.
• Optimize production lines to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Define and implement process standards, work instructions and recipes.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, engineering and operations teams.
• Analyze process performance and identify continuous improvement actions.
• Support and coach shopfloor teams on best practices and standards.
• Manage process validation linked to chocolate liquid & solid processing.
• Drive product industrialization and ensure compliance with quality standards.
