Job summary

Degroof Petercam invites an intern to join the Private Banking Control & KYC team within the Business Support Operations department, the first line of defense for Investment and Business activities in Private Banking.

You will build foundations in both Controls and KYC, collaborating with multiple departments to monitor client data and mitigate AML and related risks. The role progresses toward independent responsibilities and potential project ownership.

Qualifications

• Currently studying economics-related subjects.
• Interest in private banking and risk controls.
• Willing to learn and develop in controls and KYC.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Control Officers in research across internal databases (CRM, DGArchive, etc.).
• Performing initial controls such as client classification or phone-record checks.
• Preparing clear, structured control reports with risks and actions.
• Drafting or updating working instructions for control procedures.
• Supporting periodic KYC review campaigns and client file checks.
