Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to treat the release lifecycle as a product and architect a resilient, high-velocity delivery system. You will manage pipelines for SDKs, Terraform providers, installable software, and cloud services while upholding top security standards.

You will also automate underlying infrastructure to enable testing and deliver a robust developer experience across multiple environments and versions, ensuring scalable, secure deployments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with DevOps tooling and automation.
• Some experience with programming or scripting.
• Motivated by providing a great developer experience.
• A track record of highly collaborative work.
• Sharp debugging skills in complex environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog and building dashboards.
• Preferably familiarity with supply chain security like vulnerability scanning and code signing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain pipelines for testing and shipping software.
• Maintain test infrastructure with devops tooling and third-party dependencies.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance developer experience.
• Monitor pipelines and triage issues, guiding developers as needed.
• Provide feedback to improve product usability and testability.
• Continuously improve pipelines by reducing bottlenecks while preserving security.
