NN Group in Brussels is seeking a Pricing Actuary to shape life insurance products across Savings, Protection and Disability, collaborating with Product Managers and Experts to manage (re)insurance risks and profitability through quantitative analyses and AI-powered pricing.
You will drive pension and protection product plans, deploy solutions compliant with legislation, and mentor colleagues while contributing to innovative pricing and governance.
As a pricing actuary, you collaborate with Product Managers and Product Experts on the development and management of life insurance products. You understand business needs while managing (re)insurance risks.
You closely monitor the profitability of NN life insurance products and are an expert in the key drivers of this profitability.
You support strategic processes such as profit sharing and financial planning through quantitative analyses.
You prioritize the use of cuttingedge technologies and datadriven analyses to extract relevant insights, for example through the use of artificial intelligence applied to dynamic pricing.
The team operates across several segments (Savings, Protection, Disability) and works with two distribution channels: banks and brokers.
Be responsible for a full range of pension and protection products, with or without supplementary guarantees.
Take initiatives in the deployment of the product plan and act as the reference point for EB/SE products.
Develop and implement new solutions in compliance with the legislation (e.g., cashflow projection tools, backoffice systems).
Develop, refine, and monitor SE pricing and defend it to stakeholders. This includes a critical review of best estimate assumptions: mortality, lapses, cost structure.
Propose actions to improve the profitability of our products.
Discuss and challenge the work of your colleagues and support the development of junior team members.
Youhave 5y of experience in relevant field.
You have a Master in Actuarial Science (or an equivalent professional experience)
An experience in EB/SE/2nd Pillar segment is required.
You are fluent inEnglish,knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
You have excellent communication skills: you can simplify complex and technical topics and interact with a wide range of profiles (sales, experts, senior management).
You have programming and artificial intelligence skills.(Python, R3S, RAFM)
Experience with a cashflow projection tool and/or an automation project is a plus (e.g., workflow tools, PowerApp, DataBricks).
You have strong abilities to document tools, processes, and products in line with stringent governance requirements.
You are motivated to work on innovative topics and eager to continuously develop yourself to stay at the forefront.
You are proactive, autonomous, naturally take initiative and ownership, and are able to handle strategic discussions.
You have good stress resilience, are assertive, and capable of working with tight deadlines.
