Job summary

Médiane Benelux is seeking an engineer to join the R&D Center of an innovative automotive company, focusing on development and validation of conventional, hybrid, and electric powertrains.

You will operate and enhance test rigs for transmissions and propulsion, improve hardware and software, and work with a real-time platform using Python and CANape for automation. A strong engineering background and interest in mechatronics, plus knowledge of high-voltage applications, are required.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree with strong interest in mechatronic systems.
  • Solid programming background.
  • Basic knowledge of control theory, structural dynamics, and high-voltage applications.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and further develop advanced test rigs to evaluate transmissions and propulsion systems.
  • Enhance test rig environment, hardware, and software with focus on innovation and precision.
  • Work with a real-time platform combined with Python and CANape as automation tools.
  • Take full ownership of assigned test rigs: operation, routine maintenance, upgrades, and continuous optimization.
  • Serve as the main contact for operational issues, implementing sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate closely with validation and test engineering teams, test rig operators, and other R&D departments to optimize processes.
  • Develop tools and documentation to standardize operations and improve testing quality and efficiency using KPIs.
