NATO NBAC in Belgium seeks a seasoned Power BI specialist to own and operate Power BI Report Server on-prem and Power BI Service in the cloud, delivering fast, reliable dashboards and enabling users.

Responsibilities include performance tuning, incident management, patching, and training NBAC staff; requires 5+ years in large-scale BI, strong SQL Server and DAX skills, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years consulting on large‑scale BI implementations.
• 3+ years with Power BI Report Server (on‑prem) and Power BI Service (cloud).
• 3+ years Power BI development, data modelling, DAX and dashboard/report building.
• 5+ years MS SQL Server (2014 or higher), complex SQL and ETL.
• Data modelling, normalised/denormalised, star/snowflake schemas.
• Level 2/3 ITIL support; Agile delivery experience.
• Full professional English (C1 or equivalent).

Responsabilités

• Configure, tune and optimise Power BI Server for performance and reliability.
• Deliver L2/L3 platform support, monitoring, backups, logs, performance tuning.
• Run incident, problem and change management to ITIL and NATO service protocols.
• Perform planned on-premises patching and upgrades under release authorisation.
• Design and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards, including migrating one from another platform.
• Contribute to BI architecture, data‑modelling standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Build and deliver a knowledge‑transfer plan and train NBAC staff and power users.
