Job summary

Keystone Solutions is seeking a PostgreSQL Database Administrator/Engineer for a 3-month consultancy assignment at a client site in Belgium. You will ensure, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases, design data structures, and support development projects with tailored database solutions.

You will also integrate Python workloads with PostgreSQL, establish CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, and explore additional database technologies. Fluency in French or Dutch plus English is required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database administration and optimization.
• Strong Python backend integration with databases and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and RESTful web services.

As a PostgreSQL Database Administrator/Engineer, you will be engaged in a consultancy mission at a client site representing Keystone Solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring, managing, improving, and maintaining all aspects of database integration within the internal and external information and communication systems of the organization, guaranteeing an effective, continuous, and scalable information and communication system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and optimization of PostgreSQL databases (backup, restore, monitoring, performance tuning).
• Designing database structures and developing data synchronization mechanisms.
• Providing support for development projects through tailored database solutions.
• Integrating backend Python programs with PostgreSQL.
• Establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Potential support for the implementation of other database management systems.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
