Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) is seeking a post-doctoral research assistant for the Past2Future project. This position offers a negotiable contract duration of 20 to 24 months, focusing on palaeoclimate dynamics and climate modelling.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in physics, geosciences, or mathematics, and demonstrate strong knowledge in climate modelling. The role will involve developing models to understand Cenozoic dynamics and collaborating with an international research team.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics, mathematics, geosciences, or equivalent required.
• Knowledge in climate modelling and dynamical systems is a plus.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration experience is essential.

Responsabilités

• Develop and use models to study Cenozoic climate dynamics.
• Conduct non-linear time series analysis for climate regime identification.
